Marge Ballif Simon freelances as a writer-poet-illustrator for genre and mainstream publications such as Strange Horizons, Flashquake, The Pedestal Magazine, Sorcerous Signals, Niteblade, more. Her poetry collection, VECTORS: A Week in the Death of a Planet won the Bram Stoker award for poetry, 2008. She edits a column for the HWA Newsletter, "Blood & Spades: Poets of the Dark Side."
